Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chef's Cookbook, a professional recipe and kitchen management application operated by davmatsilApps ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Chef's Cookbook. If you use the service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@chefscookbook.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your account details current. You may not share accounts, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Cookbook administrators are responsible for managing team member access, roles, and permissions within their organization. davmatsilApps is not liable for internal access decisions made by your team.

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or pose a risk to the platform or other users.

• Violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the application except as permitted by law.
• Use the service to store or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without written consent.

You retain ownership of recipes, batches, ingredient data, images, notes, and other content you submit to Chef's Cookbook ("Your Content"). You grant davmatsilApps a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and back up Your Content solely to operate and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of nutritional, allergen, costing, and operational information you enter.

Upon account termination, we will handle Your Content in accordance with our data retention practices and applicable law. You may export your data before closing your account where export features are available.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and plan limits are displayed at purchase and may change with reasonable notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Refunds are handled according to the refund policy in effect at the time of purchase, except where required by law.

Free trials, when offered, convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. We may modify or discontinue promotional offers at any time.

Chef's Cookbook, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by davmatsilApps and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the service.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation. Our trademarks and logos may not be used without prior written permission.

Chef's Cookbook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, davmatsilApps disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The service is a management tool for professional kitchens. It does not provide medical, nutritional, legal, or food-safety advice. You are responsible for compliance with local health codes, allergen labeling requirements, and applicable food regulations. Costing, yield, and inventory calculations are estimates and should be verified before operational or financial decisions.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events may affect availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, davmatsilApps and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless davmatsilApps from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued provision poses legal or security risks.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification—will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where davmatsilApps is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

Disputes should first be addressed by contacting support@chefscookbook.com. If informal resolution is not successful, disputes will be handled by the competent courts or arbitration forum specified by applicable law.
